Learning Bridges: Learning and Teaching at the Intersection of Formal and Informal Learning Environments
“Learning Bridges” is a two-year (2008-2009) multidisciplinary research project funded by the Finnish Ministry of Education. The project is carried out at the University of Helsinki by CICERO Learning in collaboration with the Department of Applied Sciences of Education.
The main aim of the project is to investigate and develop teaching and learning practices and models at the intersection of formal, informal and non-formal contexts. Of specific interest are learning environments situated within and across schools, museums, science centers and libraries.
